Overview
RateDue is an iPhone app from Ashraya Studio that helps independent professionals organize and review client pricing. This policy explains what information RateDue uses and where that information goes.
The short version: RateDue has no account or backend. Your business information and client-rate records remain on your device unless you choose to export them.
Information you add
RateDue stores the information you choose to enter, which can include:
- business settings, currency, services, and standard prices;
- client names, agreed prices, service frequency, review dates, and rate-change history;
- grandfathering details, staged increase plans, reminders, and message templates; and
- other settings needed to provide the app’s features.
This information is stored locally on your device using Apple’s system frameworks. RateDue does not send it to Ashraya Studio.
Purchases
RateDue Pro purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Ashraya Studio does not receive your payment-card details. The app receives the entitlement information needed to determine whether Pro is unlocked. Apple’s handling of purchase information is governed by Apple’s policies.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, RateDue schedules local notifications through iOS. RateDue does not use a push-notification server, and notification permission is requested only when you choose a reminder feature that needs it.
Backups and exports
You can create a complete JSON backup, and Pro users can create CSV reports. These files are shared or saved through Apple’s system interface. You control where they are stored and who can access them. Files you export are not automatically deleted when you delete the app or its local data.
What RateDue does not do
- No RateDue account or sign-in.
- No Ashraya Studio backend or cloud database.
- No advertising or third-party analytics SDK.
- No Contacts access.
- No cloud AI processing.
- No sale of personal information.
Diagnostics
RateDue does not include third-party diagnostics or analytics. Limited system logging may record an error category and code when local app storage cannot start; it does not include client names, pricing records, or other customer-entered content.
Deleting your data
RateDue includes a confirmed “Delete All Data” action for locally stored RateDue business and settings data. Deleting the app also removes its local app data according to iOS behavior. Neither action removes separate files you previously exported or changes your Apple purchase history.
Policy changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated. Material changes will be reflected in the app or on this page as appropriate.
